One size doesn't fit all
Different learning solutions
Different goals call for different learning paths, so we offer a variety of courses to suit every business. Read on to understand how they differ.
Apprenticeships are on-the-job learning programmes fully funded by the UK government Apprenticeship Levy. Apprentices are employed by a business and combine on-the-job learning with off-the-job training delivered by Makers.
Apprenticeships can be used to upskill existing employees or recruit new talent. They typically last between 12 and 24 months, and the learner is awarded a nationally-recognised certification.
For: Businesses who want to use their Levy to upskill teams or recruit new talent for immediate, on-the-job impact.
Our commercially-funded upskilling programmes are private programmes for your team, with varied delivery options: from 2-day offsites to 2 months of weekly workshops.
We take a consultative approach when you choose to upskill your team with us, aligning learner outcomes and delivery format with your business needs.
For: Businesses who want to upskill their teams quickly, with a bespoke approach.
Accelerator programmes use the ‘Recruit Train Deploy’ model to help you quickly build your tech team.
We recruit and train new talent according to your needs, then deploy them into your team on a 12-month contract. They then receive ongoing support and coaching from us to quickly propel them to mid-level.
For: Businesses that need tech talent - fast - and want job-ready talent with minimal onboarding time.
Makers is proud to be the original European tech bootcamp.
Bootcamps are intensive 16-week programmes that rapidly upskill people into new career paths.
We offer bootcamps to individuals looking to retrain in tech, or switch to a new tech discipline. These could be funded by the individual or by an employer supporting a career change or upskilling.
